This is so strong for getting iTunes through to your work place. http://www.yazsoft.com/st/ (Page contains music warning.) Essentially it tunnels bonjour services through SSH. What does that mean for you? Sharing your iTunes library to your work computer et al.

Ladies. Is it hard to wait till you get to the office to put on masquera? Applying while driving seems to be a bad idea.

Time Warner Cable gets crazy

Posted: April 10th, 2009 | Author: Erik | Filed under: General | No Comments »

TWC says they are introducing bandwidth based pricing in Austin later this year. They’ve amended their original price plan that to say you can have unlimited bandwidth for $150. So, if I understand this correctly, what costs me $40 now, will cost $150 later this year. Makes sense. I usually never wish ill will upon a company, but I really hope the rate of stubbed toes at TWC facilities goes through the roof.

I will be dropping TWC one month before this tiered price plan goes into effect.

Another Texas Rep makes a silly

The massive brain trust at 15th and Congress has yet again produced some political funny gold.

From the Houston Chronicle: AUSTIN — A North Texas legislator during House testimony on voter identification legislation said Asian-descent voters should adopt names that are “easier for Americans to deal with.”

Sounds a little socialist to me.

I’m guessing there aren’t many of the Asian types in Terrell. Perhaps we can legislate some diversity training for that area of the great state.
